When menopause hit women they hit with menopause symptoms - hot flashes are one of those. However, you will find that along with hot flashes there are many other symptoms as well. Here we will talk about the most common of those which women can look forward to.

While hot flashes are a symptom, they aren’t the only symptom. One of the other ones are your sleep patterns. What do we mean by this? Well, for starters, you will find that in many cases, you will have what are called night sweats where you will just wake up and be drenched in it. You might find that you have a hard time falling asleep which leaves you feeling fatigued.

There are other things as well. Many women know that menopause is a change in their system so that their body no longer has a menstrual cycle. However, many women think this happens over night. This doesn’t occur as soon as menopause starts. It happens slowly. First, you will find that your menstrual cycles are irregular. Then, as you continue through menopause, you then find that you no longer have a period. Some find that they have more frequent periods.

Something else you will find is that many women will tend to lose their hair. Many find that the hair on their head is thinning. Something else that many find is that they grow hair on their face. This is said to be due to the hormone change as well.

Something that many women are thrilled about is after menopause, their periods go away. However, before then, they find that in many cases, their periods might be a bit odd. For instance, some women have an increase of flow. Others have a decrease. There are some who have a flow that lasts longer than normal. At first, this is gradual, then it increases.

The last symptom is that many women will find that your whole sense of balance might be off. There are many reasons that this happens. You will find that you might feel lightheaded. You might also find that you might even feel a bit dizzy. However, it’s important to know that in many cases, dizzy spells might be a symptom of many medical conditions so you should see a doctor to be sure it’s not due to something else.

With all of these are more symptoms that are normal when a woman starts the menopause process. Many find that it’s a pain in the butt to go through.
